Hello ~ I hope I'm on the correct board here. I need some information concerning my Dad's gravely. Dad is 90 and no longer is able to cut grass. A distant neighbor approached my sister (who cares for Dad) and offered her $100 for the gravely (we are not advertising a sale, he just approached and made an offer). I just put a new battery in it 3 years ago, it had a complete tune up 3 years ago, and was last used by me 2 years ago. I can't find a website that will tell me the year of the Gravely but I do have what I think is a model number, which is 915164 and it is an LI or an LT. My sister had a difficult time reading the information on it. I know this is highly unusual for someone to ask this on a lawnmower forum but I really don't trust this guy and the sale was unsolicited. Can anyone give me a ballpark number and educated me a bit? Thanks in advance!

Hello Janice & WELCOME to these Forums....

Since you are trying to identify your particular tractor this forum should work well, there are quite a few folks that repair various models follow here...
If you don't have a picture you could post, go to Ebay and do a search for Gravely it should turn up a lot of models, try to find one that looks similar to yours... it will also give you a general idea what they are selling for, $100 is way too little for any operational gravely, the tires & wheels alone should be worth that....
Is yours a 2 wheel or 4 wheel rider? It could also be a zero turn, Gravely has made various models...
Those older Gravely's are better built than newer models so it's age is not necessarily going to reduce the value.
If you can find a serial # this attached pdf may help in finding the year:... :smile:KennyV

If you can find and post a model number, I can get a blue book trade in value if that would help you out.

Does it look like this?

If so, does it have attachments?

Thank you! I found the year using your attachment, its a 1978. I've had several others who have stepped forward to help me as well. I'm overwhelmed by the response and support from everyone. So appreciative.
