Im looking for Peerless 930-042 transaxle. Its was used on early 90's Sears, Noma, Murray and Dynmark mowers that had the rear steering. I'll even consider one that doesnt work but has good casings. The one thats in the mower has no reverse and rear steering. The casings were cracked and repaired with jbweld/epoxy by a PO. All forward gears work fine.

No on ebay and amazon.

Unless you are going for a new case, if it was me I would go on the look for used transaxle. I know where I live here in NY finding one would be no problem for me seeing is is a very popular transaxle. I really don't know your neighborhood. I have bought used parts off the internet also but this is something you will have to do unless someone off this forum can help you???

All the dead mowers in my area end up in the scrap yard unless I can get them first for free or pay cash for it broken.

I am taking a guess when you say scrap yard its like the recycle yards we have around here. The recycle yards around me will sell you the whole tractor by weight. You say the gears are good but the case is cracked? Why can't you have it welded.. If it is just cracked and leaking oil can it be patched with JB weld?

Yes I meant recycle yards. Same place where all the junk autos go. Forward gears work fine but doesnt have reverse. I been using it like since I got it for free back in 2008 til the 2013 mowing season. Quit using this year because the drive pulley is worn and throwing the belt in the 2012 season. The casing is cracked but was repaired with jb welded or epoxy. Plus the rear steering doesnt work either. My distributor(RBI) told me couple year ago that new transaxle was still available. Which part number 794565. I wanna this sell this mower after I get transaxle fixed or replaced.

I have a old yard man mower that I am going to be parting out soon. It has a 20 hp briggs twin that runs, bagger blade , and weights. Don't know if this transaxel will work for you or not, mower does not move when you try to go forword or reverse
