StarTech Lawn Royalty Jan 16, 2024 #2 Short circuit in the circuit caused by either a bare place touching ground or a bad safety switch.
J jwcloutier Forum Newbie Jan 16, 2024 #3 Wouldn't it not turn over at all if a safety switch was bad?
StarTech Lawn Royalty Jan 16, 2024 #4 It all depends on how the safeties are wired. Without the model of the equipment it is impossible to know it is wired. But it is likely a seat switch if it is a switch. Some will crank but not fire up if they are bad; others will not even crank.
