Troy. If your mower is like mine (walker) as you look from the top of the deck while cutting, the left blade turns clock wise and the right blade turns counter clock wise. When you put the blades on pay attention to put them on that way with the lifting vane facing up. This is if you have the grass handling system. If you have the side discharge, then Im not sure how those go. I hope that this helps you out.
