The mower was running. It sat for a few weeks. Then, when I tried to start it, it fired for 1/2 a second, then it would not start. Then I noticed gas running out of the air filter / card/ I would appreciate any help you could give. I have not been able to find any info on this carb or a rebuild kit. Where can I find either a carb or a kit? The numbers on the carb are LMK 124 2574 200?39314 20260613120638.jpg20260613114718.jpg

Carb repair kit is part number 12 757 27-S
Can your dog mow your yard. If it can, can I borrow it. Do you think it could handle a Dixie Chopper XW2500 72 inch cut. That has 33 Hp Generac engine on it. It is a 1997 model. sure makes short work of the 1 acre I mow. It is a beast.

Wait a minute in order the repair the leaky seat which this engine appears to be gravity fed you would need 20 521 01-S.

Was just doing some checking and discovered that the SV590-0002 is suppose to use the NIkki carb not the Walbro. And it looks like the Walbro in the picture is the 20 853 14-S carb which uses the 12 757 03-S repair kit, not the kit previously posted.

Yes the IPL shows a Nikki. But SV590 series also used the Walbro 20 853 33-S which was a pump fed carburetor which would need to be converted to gravity fed if not pump fed.

Did you look at the Kohler PB-255 Carburetor Inlet Seat Kit for Single Cylinder Engines?

Right or wrong but Kohler shows his spec number and serial number using the Nikki carb with a fuel pump.

It won't be the first time Kohler had the wrong info posted.

Then the OP needs to let us know if a fuel pump is present or not as that would require a different Walbro inlet kit if pump fed.
