Happened to pass by an Estate Sale today and found this little number for $30.
I've only ever seen pics of these online and never in person. Its rare in my part of the world and so I'm asking for assistance.
Would like to get it up and running, but have no idea of engine model or anything for it.
Previous owner painted the deck and may have covered wherever that information is located.
It appears to be mostly complete and when I pull the cord the engine has compression, although the recoil is lazy.
Missing air filter and cover, and the engine stop cable.

Again, any information that you can provide me with would be much appreciated. And parts too!

Found out its called Lawn Boy Scamp model 4250. Made 1983 I think.
I didnt have to do too much to get it started.....lubricated the starter recoil, new spark plug added mixed fuel and it ran. Although I think the engine was a bit slow. Watch the video, tell me what you think.
 
That's neat. I never ever ever see lawnboys here. Sounds like u got it going with minimal effort, sorry I'm no help with it but that is a cool old mower.

Thanks for the feedback. I will open it up and check the rod only AFTER I get a rebuild kit or something like that in case the gaskets get damaged during disassembly. I checked the carb yesterday and it was clean as a whistle, everything appeared to be in order. The slight fuel leak was caused by a pinhole in the fuel line.
