Very basic Q here-
I guess my lawnmower siezed up 2 yrs ago. Embarrassing, but with kids/work etc - i simply forgot to keep it oiled.
So - brought it to a local hack I found on Craigslist.
Guy got it running - but it very seriously leaks oil and burns/smoke too.
Q: What did the guy do? Can I 'un-do' it ?
I am expecting I need to tighten some bolts, maybe get new gasket or such.
Whatever the fellow did - its a very basic, standard trick.

Thank you
Mike

No

You can pull it down, hone the cylinders fir new rings remove the crank machine the cases fit bushes to bring the running clearences into spec then fit new seals
But it would be easier & cheaper to replace the engine
