Vanguard solenoids

Do they have an aftermarket solenoid for B/S Solenoid 846737? I'm needing one for a 36 hp B/S 36 hp Vanguard engine. Those oem'are pricey for a disabled man on a fixed income. Does anyone know of a replacement? Thanks in advance.

keep it all B&S especially when you have an expensive Big Block 36 h.p. Vanguard.

If it is a remote solenoid, any mower solenoid will do the job.
They are nothing more than a switch.
Just make sure ou get the right type
There are 2 of them.
One has a single small wire on the bottom which will be the + trigger and will ground out by the base
The other type has 2 trigger wires at the base one will be + & the other - , does not matter which way it is connected.

Apart from that some mount with the heavy cables pointing up ( vertical ) and some have the cables pointing out ( horizontal ).
Most aftermarket ones have dual mounts which can make them hard to get older fingers into .
