I just picked up this vintage mower. It has a Briggs engine marked 1965. Anyone know what this is?

Can't help you with IDing the mower but welcome to the forum from the Lake Conroe Texas area.

Omg I know what this is. But it's 3 hours past my bed time. And my brain is not working.

Welcome to the forum!

I'll be back around to move this thread over to the appropriate part of the forum...once we know what that is.

Welcome to the forum! I'd be interested to see what make/model that mower is - looks unique for sure.

My first thought was snapper but don't think so. The mower pictured is Similar [web search] but not it either, made for Montgomery Ward by ? It may be possible your mower is missing some sheet metal making it difficult to I.D. Any stamping on the frame?

Dang forgot about this.
It is a craftsmen. With the wrong seat and wrong front tires

That might be a Yardman brand built by the Yardman Mfg. Co.(not the MTD)? Having a B&S engine on it. Most of the Craftsmans I remember had Lauson/Tecumseh engines. Some with the windup starter.
