Ultima ZT1 50" mulching kit?

I made my maiden mow on my new ZT1 50 yesterday, and aside from really liking the mower I definitely need a plug for my side discharge. There's no way I'm buying this based on the details in the reviews:

I couldn't seem to find any viable alternatives via a number of searches and YouTube videos. I'm confident someone out there has solidly solved this problem. So please - do tell, do tell! Thanks.

First of all, unless the mower has counter rotating ( timed blades ) none of them can evenly distribute the clippings because they all send the clippings to the right.
Dedicated mulching decks have baffels underneath that almost encircle the blade.
Just blocking off the outlet never works on any deck.
