I will take out every Mink I can. One took out 22 of my chickens until I got him. And I got hit by 7 raccoon. It took a while to get them Now the barn floor is wired. Something tunneling but they haven't found a way in yet.

Good idea about wiring the floor.
When I see a animal tunneling under a barn or similar I take a piece of sheet iron or even fencing type chicken wire and bury it just under the ground at the tunnel and along the edge. When they try to tunnel again they hit the steel or wire and move on.
Works really good for inside a dog pen where they try to dig out.
If you just fill in the tunnel animals usually just re-dig or move over.
Yes, take out the mink, racoons, skunks.. They are chicken killers and pests in my neck of the woods.
I watched a mink swimming under clear water hunting for fish, Could not believe how fast they can swim under water and seen it catch a small perch, surfaced and eat the fish.
I've seen mink travel several miles away from water also.
Luckily mink are solitaire animals. Caught him in a live trap that he try to destroy. He got a .22. Owl got his mate.
The raccoons dug in 6 places before taking the attic route. So left one tunnel open with two live traps setup. It took a few tries as I had to make the traps more sensitive.

I've seen Racoons on Game camera that will not go into a baited live trap.
I started putting brush over the live trap so as it would look like a brush pile to get the smart ones. A big racoon can do damage to a live trap also.
I've noticed: A trapper has to get smarter and more cunning than the animal when trapping.
Them Large Pack rats can get smart fast also and they can destroy equipment fast.
I also had a Jimothy type Racoon on game camera few times last year. (Jimothy like was on news with no tail and deformed hind end) It finally moved on)
