Have to believe you. BUT, it looks like there is very minimal "seasoning" on it. Could be the picture lighting?? I can see the metallic pores where the pan turns up vertically. Can't touch cast iron for flavor.You bet your azz it's non stick but you need a table spoon ofoil when it first hits the hot pan. That pan has 25 years of cooking and has never been in the sink of had any kind of soap on it. The stove is a Frigidaire from 1975 and everything still works and is used everyday. Very easy to remove the seasoning. Little water in the pan, little heat then rub a tomato (acid) over the cooking surface. Of course reseason the ol' girl. Good way to refresh your pan. I never worry about it. Max heat and smoke away.people do throw perfectly good cast iron pans because of carbon build up
