Tired of the ol' dry turkey bird every year? Got an easy one for you.

Get a turkey breast. Cut in steak like sizes. Or in chicken strips if you like. Marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 days in buttermilk, garlic, onion basically whatever you like. NO SALT YET. AGAIN NO SALT. Salt AFTER you cook it on YOUR plate. Salt will dry the meat out. Day of cooking it, simply chicken fry it up just like fried chicken. Cut it with a fork, super tender and juicy. Yes even the breast meat. Been a family hit at our house. Everyone thinks it's chicken.

Another easy recipe is using those oven bags. Put the bird in one and throw it in the oven. Season it up MINUS SALT if you like. Stuff her full with your best cravings. Enjoy!!

Oh, toss in some crushed or pineapple chunks inside the bird. Small pieces of apples bits are good too.

Must be a rich fella'. I can't afford the oil for that process. 💰Keep at it if you like it. That flavor never really did it for me.
I did 3 this year using the same oil. As long as you don't get it to the smoke point it doesn't go bad. I have fried a turkey, Strained the oil through some cheese cloth and put it back in the plastic jug and used it a year later. As long as you keep it sealed from the air it will keep. Oxygen is not your friend here.

Ever tried one in a microwave and finish browning in an oven? But course of it take decent sized mic with temp probe. I also done in an oven where the meat was just falling the bones.

Now everyone has their way. I remember one Thanksgiving we even had Physio turkey. Kinda had to leave the room as cook went bonkers.

Cajun deep fry, but never a turkey in the oven.
My son is a smoker guy. Last year he brought a smoked turkey and i brought a deep fried bird. He is trying to to get me into smoking (like i need something else). I did get a flat top surface for the gas grill. I like it better than the grate surface.
