Finally got it going. Wow, it was a killer though. It was a combination of things. One of the 2 aluminum mounts where the right side coil attaches was broken and causing the flywheel magnet to see a different air gap as the motor was running. Lucky it did not wreck. I fabricated a steel bracket and attached it to the intake manifold where one side of the coil mounts and the other side of the coil still used the original mount. The way I discovered it was when I was in desperation and decided to swap the coils...... and when I took off one of the 2 mount bolts the coil with the broken "leg" fell off in my hand. Crazy.
