Trying to fix a 5.5 140cc "rato" push mower

I have a weedeater 5.5hp 140cc rato engine push lawn mower that won't start. I really want to learn/know how to fix this thing, Im starting to be pressed for time because my lawn looks terrible. I know my neighbours are not impressed. If I'm posting in the wrong place I sincerely apologize, i would appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. i have found very little service info on "rato" engines so far.

It has maybe 15 hours runtime and has been stored indoors for the last 2 winters..

Cut the entire lawn this year with 1 year old gas and it worked fine.

Second time I cut the grass I hit the blade pretty good on a wood stump, I was in 4" thick grass so I tilted the lawn mower on the rear wheels and it started right up. When i put the mower back down the bent blade dug into the ground and It stalled out again. At that point i flipped the mower and realized the blade was bent.

Drained the old fuel and the oil and I replaced the blade. Added (perfectly measured) oil and fresh fuel and it started right up. Got ready to mow the grass and now It won't start?

So I put in a new air filter and changed the spark plug. (getting a spark and also getting compression.)

Still won't start

Then I pulled the flywheel. The key was NOT broken but I think that flywheel was bumped out of time.. Im not sure because when the fly popped It jumped and I was unable to determine where the fly was on the shaft...

Is It possible for the flywheel to shift on the crankshaft without the key breaking?

How do you know if its even in time? There was no timing markers, Is the engine in time if the flywheel is in line with the key way???

At this point I cleaned the fuel tank inspected the fuel filter (it looked fine, no gunk) ran some fuel through, no dirt or grime coming from the tank or the line. Pulled the carb gave it a nice cleaning, cleaned the primer button, all the gaskets are fine heat plates are fine, reinstalled the fly Put everything back together put fresh gas and new oil in?racked the carb bowl and purged the air in the fuel line, filled up the carb bowl with fuel.

Primed it and I still won't start...

Im noticing a dribble stream of fuel in the bottom of the air cleaner box when I push the primer button. Why would that be that happening?

Also, If the crank Is bent would/should the engine start? I suspect the crank is fine. When i flipped it over the blade rotated fine, clearance looked fine. Of course without a dial gauge it is impossible to say, but also the wooddruff key wasn't broke either.

Anywho, as i said I really want to know how to fix this engine. If anyone has the service manual I would love to know all the clearances and torque specs too.. I have the manuals that come with it but they don't tell you much.

I suspect that even if the flywheel key looks good, it has started to shear. I would start by replacing the key, which controls the ignition timing.
