I have four walker mowers that have had the engines swapped around in and they don't have the decals on them any more so how do tell the difference between my 20 hp Kohler ,23 hp ,and my 25 hp just by looking at them????

Your very first step is just what series Kohler do you have. They run from the older K series all the way up to the newer courage series with a large family in between, and even diesels. Then there are many models and HP sizes in each series. HP power doesn't mean very much. You can find numbers stamped into the shrouds on most of them. Maybe some pictures would help.
