Good Day, All,

My Troy-Bilt ZT50 blades will disengage when the mower is moving in reverse. Does anyone know how to defeat this? I just see it as a early burn out coming for the clutch. Thanks for any help available.

Anyone? Anyone? Still would like to hear from someone that can tell me how to jumper around no mow in reverse safety feature. My neighbor make up a jumper wire for it once, but it was removed when I had to take the mower in for some repair work!

On the lever or pedal that puts it in reverse will be a switch with a push button on it move it so the button can not get pushed in.

On the steering arms there is a safety switch with a 2 wire connector on it. Disconnect the connector from the switch and make a jumper wire with a male connector on each end. Just plug it into the connector on both sides and no more shut off in reverse. I do this for all my customers that have that mower.

Thanks!!! I will see if I can find the switch and make up a jumper. I most certainly appreciate your input jsm0960!
