The usually culprit is the parking brake is still on ( catches me out all the time )
or
the seat switch is faulty and is sending a "no bum on me" signal shutting down the mower when it starts to move.
Now before we start, can you read a simple wiring diagram ?
Do you have test gear like a multimeter or / and test lamp ?
