Troy-Bilt Bronco Engine Replacement Question

I have a 2011 Troy-Bilt Bronco (Model#: 13WX78KS011) that has a Kohler 18hp engine. I'm looking to replace it due to it's age, and I was wondering if anybody knows if a Briggs Stratton Vertical Engine 19 HP 540cc 1 (link here) would fit and if there was a retrofit wiring harness? I've looked online, but I couldn't find any good amount of information on this.

Save your money & keep the Kohler running as long as you can, then upgrade in the future.

Yes it will fit in the hole
No I have not seen an interchange loom since I have been repairing mowers
If it was availible with a B & S as an alternative engine then there will be a loom for it which will usually cost almost as much as the replacement engine.
Both engines will have the same basic wiring.
Unless you have the required crimping tools & plugs it is easiest to cut the plug off your old engine as far back towards the engine as possible then splice it into the new one remembering that you have to be able to remove the alternator stator should it fail

And do not be deluded.
The 19Hp will not make your mower run 1 mm/ minute faster , all it will do is use more fuel.

Unless your Kohler is terminal I am with Mark, you will be better to fix the old one

The big problem will be with the exhaust pipe and muffler
