Is there a trick to using these trimmers if you're 6'4"? Just wondering if there is a longer handle or maybe a longer shaft to the head. Any ideas out there? My back hurts after using my Shindaiwa T231 for an hour and I wish there was a way to keep it at the lower angle without stooping over...

Honestly I have never seen the option for a trimmer shaft extension. The only option I know of is finding a different model/brand of trimmer that is longer. But I want to hear other people's opinions on this. I am over 6 ft tall, and have an Echo straight shaft, and don't seem to bend over too much.

According to Echo their shaft size on the 225 is 59". I don't know what the Shindaiwa is.
