I own a craftsman 17.5 hp lt1000 after cleaning it changing oil etc. all of a sudden my shifting lever on my gear shift became harder and harder to shift. It is now at the point that i can hardly move it at all. Can someone please give me some advice on what a may try to fix this problem. I did recently make a brake adjustment because they were no longer stopping the mower. Could this have anything to do with it ? I welcome any suggestions. Thank you Rod

yes especially if you pressure washed mower, inspect all shift lever parts to transmission, maybe you knocked something loose, if everything looks ok spray lubricating oil on all moving parts.
