I have a Craftsman GT6000 6 speed that will not go into gear when it is running. When I put the clutch in the brake works and the drive pulley on the transaxle turns. Should the drive pulley be turning?
The drive pulley should stop when the clutch/brake is depressed. Either the pedal needs to be adjusted to allow more slack in the belt when the pedal is pushed, or the wrong drive belt has been installed, or installed incorrectly.
