Tractor owner new to forum

Twall, I was looking at the picture of your sears tractor. Is that an original color that Sears would have used (red)? My "89" is that silver gray.

Yes, those are the original colors - red and white, the only thing I changed is the grille - it's supposed to be white, too.

My dad's Sears and Roebuck tiller was red, too....they used red quite a bit in the old days.....it should be a tad more orange, but this color is close.

Sears used a lot of color combos in the late 60's/early 70's......cat yellow and white, robin egg blue and white, and red and white. Gray/black was what they decided on about the time they changed the 'Sears' logo......from the box to what it is now. Believe that was late 70's/early 80's.
