I have a MTD 20hp 46 inch tractor with a weird problem that has me stumped. I broke my drive belt for the mower deck - not the belt that turns the blades but the one coming off the crankshaft that gets engaged when you engage the PTO. Also I changed the main drive belt from the front crankshaft pulley to the rear pulley. Problem is when I engage PTO in drive the engine dies - I have a low and high forward gear it works in low forward but dies in high forward - and to add to it in reverse the engine does not die and I can cut going in reverse. If I don’t use the PTO it runs fine only dies when I engage forward high - any help would be greatly appreciated. Ps actual name is Dennis not zzyz.

Mower model number? should be located on a white sticker underneath the seat.
