this machine runs away on a down hill and will not turn right on a slope to the left. I must put both levers in neutral to stop it down hill and stop and work slow to turn right into a slope.

put the mower on level ground release the brake then try & push it.
If you can push it easily the hydros have gone
If it turns in an arc then the opposite hydro to where the mower want to go is gone
If it is hard to push and sort of goes strait then time to replace the drive belt
