Toro zero turn just shut down like light switch turned off

Sounds like that fuse was in the charging circuit to me. Charge the battery and it should start. We had a mower that was blowing fuses that would do that.

Are you sure you have a good battery negative ground connection ? I had an old Harley that developed a crack in the battery negative cable lug at the frame ground end, and it behaved like your mower. Anyways, it sounds like you have an open circuit somewhere.

Thank you to all but especially to MowerMike -- i started tracing my battery cables and the negative cable didnt seem to be stiff all the way thru so i took some cabling i had and rigged the battery terminals onto the battery and it fired right up !!!!!!!!
so now i have new positive and negative cables and a running Toro zero turn --- thanks to all who came up with this forum . i am a devout member and will follow and learn from this group. olbarndoor signing off
