Toro z4200

I was mowing and turned a corner and the mower quit pulling like the trans axels would not engage what would cause that on a toro time cutter z4200?

Have you looked underneath to see if the drive belt is still on ?

I agree look at the belt. That's about the only thing that would make both sides stop at the same time.
