Toro Super Recycler carburetor issue

I need a new carburetor for my 2006 Toro SR. My issue is that my SR (6.75hp B&S) has an oval air filter on the right side of the motor. None of the carbs I have bought (used part number from book) have a primer hole that lines up with the air filter adapter which is where the primer bulb is located.

Has anyone else seen this? Any options? The mower will run is I use starter fluid but it won’t prime and start

Here is the adapter on the mower

Givey, I have a MD 20016 offered 2002 to 2006, it has a LV195EA 6.5 Tecumseh, 20017 2002-2006 and 20018 2002 to 03 also had Tecumseh engines, the carb on my machine has primer bulb. Two press and it always lights on the first pull. I recently obtained a 20331, it has the B&S 190cc 6.75 no choke/no prime carb. A replacement carb was a whole $15 and it runs like a new machine.

With this said, there is a wealth of info on the web for these machines, just find the model# (under the discharge flap on many) and it should be easy to find a replacement carb. Ray

Please give us the model and serial numbers off the silver tag on the rear of the engine If this site doesn’t help you. https://www.partstree.com/models/20...ssembly-briggs-and-stratton-122672-0192-e1-0/

No silver tag on the back. There is a place
where one might have been in the last. Here are numbers off a metal plate on the left side. I can’t get the pic size small enough to post

This site has the carb you will need, but I recommend a little more research before spending $$$ on it. I’ve seen this many times and most often I’ve found the a good carb cleaning and replacing the float needle and seat solves the problem. https://www.partstree.com/models/12...ton-vertical-engine/carburetor-fuel-supply-3/

Well I appreciate those who tried to help. I found a carburetor that worked. If you notice I circled in RED the hole that was needed. No other carburetor had a hole here. They all have the hole on the left which doesn’t line up. I guess perseverance paid off
