I have a toro ss5000 model 74630 that dies when i pull in the control arms. The seat switch has been bypassed since i bought it used a year ago. im able to turn on the blades but it dies when i take it out of park.

The lap bars are linked to the parking brake so you can not drive off with the brakes applied which destroys the brakes

Those pesky Toro brake control modules.
