Does anybody know the part numbers for auger and drive belts? I looked on partstree and jackssmallengine but there not showing any belts. I have the owners manual and its showing belts and cables.

Toro 724-38072-7900001 & up

Drive belt number is 37-9090

Auger belt number is 26-9672

How hard is it to change the belts?

Depending on skill level, 1/2 hour to 1 hour for me. Average person 1 1/2 hours. Go slow. People say there are videos to help, but I have never looked for them.

Thanks. I couldnt find anything on a 724 toro snowblower in replacing belts. I found a ton videos on replacing the belts on the single stuff. If anybody has service manual they can email me then PM me for a email address. Thanks to all.

Yeah, I was looking at this video, but I wasn't sure if that is how you would do it, but I looked it up using the search phrase you suggested, and I think it IS how you do it.


Correct me if I'm wrong, Rivets. You know a lot more than me on this topic!

I google that search phase and thats all I got too was that mtd video.

Basically all 2stage blowers are the same. Toro is easier than an MTD, get yourself a helper and you should be able to do it. Toro's don't need to be split, just take out the two top bolts, and tip the halves apart.
