I was mowing my lawn and mower stopped. Gas was low so I filled the tank. Mower would not run. I can prime the engine, pull the started rope, and the mower will start and run for about 3-5 seconds then stop. What could be the issue?
Dirt in carburrettor. There is always some dirt on the bottom of the gastank and if You run it empty it can happen that the dirt can get into the carb.
Not sure which kind of carburrettor. It can be a float type or a diaphragm.
