Considering the purchase of a Toro Grandstand 40" cut. Would like the 48" but have to consider gates for back yards. Anyone using the Grandstand, any thoughts good, bad or in between?

The only problems we have heard about them from out customers is the Kaw. engine loves to suck fuel and some would like to be able to remove or tip up the discharge chute. As you know power and torque = gas and chute is there for safety. One customer likes to cut wet and complains about clumping. I wonder why?

Looks like a nice mower if you like standing. I show a 40" Calif model only on the web page. I don't like standing that's why I bought a ztr.

Yea I'm going with the 36", I hope with the 18.5hp. Everybody complains about the kawasaki using gas and I find that puzzling because my G1336 WB has a 13hp Kawasaki and it's great on gas. As far as gas consumption goes it's the best engine I have.
