Toro Burning Oil

I posted yesterday but here is a little more detail.

When mowing it runs fine but when unlevel, like going up a hill, it starts to shoot out heavy white smoke, ALOT of it. I believe it has something to do with the oil spilling and being burnt up but I don't know what would cause that. There may also be gas or oil in the air filter chamber but the actual filter seems to be staying clean

Check your oil level, is it over the max line? Does it smell like gas?

Sounds as though it might be the head gasket leaking where the cylinder and push rod gallery meet. I would first make sure the oil is not overfilled.

The oil isn't over filled and how would I go about fixing the head gasket?

The oil is right where it is supposed to be and it doesn't smell like gas

Believe this is a 3 part tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iWulB_I-dY There are others on youtube. Before you go to all that and know everything else is good, I would first perform a simple compression test.

Does it smoke only up hill? Sidehill left, sidehill right, downhill. Please post the model numbers for both the engine and tractor. I want to figure out how this engine is oriented.

Anytime it is on un level hill it smokes, it seems to not matter the orientation of the hill.

There was a lot of oil build up in both chambers, I'm hoping this is the issue and not something further into the engine

Very well could be. Hope so.

The cylinder head gasket had some wear right in the middle and it appeared oil was able to leak.

There was a good amount of oil in both chambers, hopefully this is the problem.

Any additional info would help

Hopefully that's it. Just make sure the mating surfaces are cleaner than clean to include using a single edge razor blade. Don't know if your gasket for that motor is applied without a form of sticky / sealer or without. Make sure if it has a torquing sequence to follow it and of course the proper torque values.
