Picked up a older toro with the kawi fj180v looks to be in great shape overall i paid $30 as is .... checked all the simple stuff the fly wheel was a little rusty cleaned that up pulled the plug no change pulled the blade cover only thing i see is the top belt is a little tight my problem is it doesn't turn over smooth there's some sort of drag
Pretty sure the flywheel key sheard i can spin it easily i stuck my finger over the spark plug hole nothing calling the shop Monday i have no way to get the flywheel off

All you need it a wrench big enough for the bolt a pry bar and hammer. Easy.
It is a std right hand thread.
Remove the spark plug, and fill the cylinder with some soft woven rope.
Turn the nut slowly to compress the rope then try again with the rattle gun.
If it has never been off it will fight you to the death.
Update i backed off the valve adjusters then tapped them a little and readjusted them runs great now just need a few parts..... Dunno how to add a picture lol
