Hello All,
This is my first time on this forum, I do belong to others so I'm familiar with how this works.
I own a Cub Cadet 2166 mower for a long time now (since 2003)and it runs great and never had any problems with her at all.
My question is this; I'm looking for new tires for both the front and the back with only 382hrs. the front tires are bald and the rears look like new (all 4 are turf pro original Cub Cadet) so I want new rear tires because I have grassy slopes in my yard that are hard to climb anymore even though these tires look like new. As far as the front tires go when they were new they would tear up the turf in a turn however now that they are rounded and very bald they work much better and do not turf the lawn but they are bald and need replacement before i get a blow out.
I need recommendations on what tires will get me up the grassy areas and and not turf the lawn.
Thanks in advance any recommendations are appreciated.

Si down before you get the quote because you will fall down when you do.
Ride on tyres are very small volume runs so are every expensive.

If you like the smooth tyres, you can get smooth ones in most of the smaller sizes

Jack,
I can recommend TiresUSA.com for having a wide selection and good quality.
In my area you usually find 2ply or 4ply tires locally but I was able to purchase 6ply with a deep tread pattern tire similare to OEM from TiresUSA.
I usually buy Front Tires for my HD2135 (1996) at local tire dealer and have them fill it with the self-sealing puncture liquid due to the number of thorny locust trees I'm usually mowing around.

But when buying the rear tires I discovered there was a change in available tire sizes since my Cub was made and the exact same tire size was no longer available.
Original tire size 20 x 8 x 8; and TiresUSA was able to help me with a suitable replacement tire 20 x 10 x 8 that was available.
Price was around $125.00 for both, shipping was free.
Good luck,
