May buy one of these in the morning. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Tax and all $4586.

First I am not a JD hater. I own an F925 Front deck mower with snow broom.
With that said you will be paying about $500 to $1000 more than a comparable mower. It is just a residental mower with a 24 hp engine. Check out any with the same specs.
Now it is really just up to you if you want the green, orange, yellow, or red.
Might be different in the USA but JD service & repairs are head & shoulders above anything else down here, including the locally made machines which is inexcusiable.
JD prices are about 2/3 the price of the same items used on other brand mowers.

Its different here in my experience. JD parts here are higher and there if fewer aftermarket parts available forcing you to go to john deer for parts.
I didn't get the chance to go by the JD dealer Saturday and kinda glad I didn't. Please feel free to pass along any suggestions for a mower. I only cut about 3 hours a week so I don't need a commercial mower but I have beat a toro timecutter to death in 2 years. I liked the Deere for the long warranty and the dealer is about a mile from my house. Thanks
