Most of my lawns look like this. With the cooler temps (until now..it's going to be 90 degrees until the weekend) and lots of rain, the yards are staying nice and green. People are mowing every 4 days. I can't do it that often, though.

Looks great! Fertilized? My fertilized lawns are great, the others...not so much!

Grass here just began to green up again last year at this time. This year is nice and green but going to get brown if no rain for several more days. Nice looking lawn Addict. Questions What kind of grass is that? How low you cut? What is the cause of the small brown spots. We had a great deal of fungus here the last month. Large areas of reddish brown in tall fescue as well as lots of small ones in the buffalo grass. Some large areas of brown right to the dirt on hybrid Bermuda. Milder places on common Bermuda. Even the fine fescue under trees turned poor looking to fungus for awhile. Most everything but the hybrid Bermuda and the tall fescue has greened back up and the nasty parts have been mowed off. Some trees are going to loose their leaves from what looks to be the same thing. Last year the drought. This year the wet ground and high humidity for about a month.

Lucky:tongue: Most of my lawns have to be mowed every 2 or more weeks now. And they don't look that green.

I will likely be mowing that yard until the end of November here, just not weekly.

I cut that yard at around 2.75". it is the only yard that I bag (requested). As for the type of grass....I really don't know. It might be Bluegrass / Rye / Fescue? The brown spots are likely from their dogs. You can see that to the right of the bag on my mower in the second picture (and in the bottom let corner of the first picture) there is a little circle of a different type of grass. When it gets hot that is what turns brown.
