Thx I wish it was that simple for me I'm back to the same problem as last year just did tune up all filters new oil and still have to prime to start. Fuel pump pumps fuel , I've replaced all the fuel lines , the gas cap is fine , the carb was soaked in carb cleaner last summer, what is left to do ?

Went to the JD dealer today and spoke to parts guy , he said might be the fuel pump but before letting me buy one he said go home and undo the fuel filter from the gas tank end and shoot some air toward the tank thru the gas line...Well hallelujah!!!! Problem is solved. I expect ill need to remove the gas tank and clean out the trash eventually , but for now I'm in tall cotton ( grass ) hope this helps others. Thanks !
