Today I had delivered a new 2014 exmark s series pioneer--60 in deck with 27 kohler, suspension seat, --I traded in a 2007 quest 52 in series 2 welded deck with 24 briggs, 250 hours--home use only--well maintained. I traded for 4478. tax included. The dealer said exmark just bumped the warranty on the pioneer to 5 years (for home use) and I think he said 500 hours--he said his rep said it has not been announced yet. I mowed with it this afternoon and I love it. feels like a tractor compared to the old quest.

Having the same 60 inch s series delivered tomorrow. Mowed with demo and loved it over others. Did my 3 acre lawn in 1 hour. Was about 2.5 hours with my 50 inch cub. Dealer is local lives just down the road known service record in my area sold me. I was told by him there is a 500, a 1000, and 1800 hour model of engine. Kind of lost me a little. Actually had to chose as the full suspension seat deal being offered was only on the ss model with 500 hour. I chose 1800 over seat via his recommendation.

Did you get full suspension seat or the regular comfort seating it comes with? Just curious.

I added the full suspension with weight adjustment. My dealer took my stock comfort seat as trade. Made a HUGE difference in ride comfort.

The seat is a big improvement.
I switched out my blades for gator type blades--I like them, also I am impressed with the power of the kohler 27--overall I really like the mower--I have to mow with the roll bar folded as I have too many trees.

Might try the blades. Very happy with kohler as well. Only time i have heard a slight bog down or change in performance is on an incline with very tall thick grass. Also think the offset deck is nice touch. About half n half with role bar depending on which part of yard Im on.
