The Cats Under There

Looks as if the cat trusts this guy.

I happened onto this pic I saved several years ago and since it seemed to be unique I guess is why I saved it.

Anyway, with all the discussion of how to work on the bottom side of a tractor I thought I'd show how this fellow does it. He claimed the rear wheels are on saw horses and the front wheels are on the tailgate of a pickup. I remember him saying after doing oil changes, blade sharpening, deck cleaning etc. he even starts it and engages the PTO to make sure everything is in order.

Unbelievable - howd he do that?

Backs the truck with tailgate down up to a road culvert or other slope, then drive the tractor into the bed? Then, on level ground, uses 2X6 wood as ramps to carefully move tractor to sawhorses and then jacks it up, removes ramps, and then lets the machine back down again? Or, possibly, he has a CUT with a FEL, and uses that machine to move rear wheels of smaller tractor to sawhorse supports?

I don't cocider this the safest way to work in a tractor so I would say, why'd he do that? Hope no one needs the truck while he is under it.

I have had very few bad things happen to me while being supervised by a cat... :smile:KennyV
