My lawn mower threw a rob the problem is the rod part number had three different sizes
On the original rod it has 25-0-44 does this number have to do with chiseling the correct size rod
The numbers molded into the rod just mean something to maybe the factory. Just order a replacement rod by using the model and code off the engine, and ignore the numbers on the rod.

I pulled the oil it was dirty so it had oil
