Tecumseh BVL198AB Does anyone know anything about it ?

Hello

I have just acquired two 1986 Mountfield M6 Lawnmowers (UK)

They both have The Tecumseh BVL198AB Engine installed.

They both run great

However both need new rings. They burn oil :-(

I have cleaned the breathers out and changed the oil.

Cleaned the carb.

But cannot find info about them :-(

I have this user manual however but no tech specs

Works for me.
Click on the hot link that I mislabled as K & C not K & T ( I get part locally from a K & C )
In the red navigation bar click on the first black writing that reads "free parts & repair manuals"
That will take you to an index page & the tecumseh stuff is down near the bottom .
AFAIK the UK members have no locality problems accessing the page.
Are you using a computer or a phone ?
