Customer complained that the pto (manual) will not engage blades. Belt was slung off and frayed. Replaced belt and has way to much slack when pto is engaged. Looks like a shorter belt would work but that is not fixing the problem. From what I can see pullys and idler looks good. Any ideas?
I kept digging and found that the deck brake assy way the fault. Pad had worn down to a point and was keeping the pto from engaging the engine deck belt fully.
