Swapping Magnetos

I have a Kohler 19hp Courage single on a mower with a powered pto. I have a Briggs 17hp Intek single that was a manual pto. Can I swap the 10 amp magneto fron the Kohler and put it on the Briggs?

NO
You can swap just about any briggs alternator to any Briggs mower
Jpi can do the same with Kohlers
But you can not swap between brands
