I like tinkering with mowers. I guess I like a good challenge and Ive had quiet a few of late. I have 2 simplicity mowers, each with their own problems. They are not new. My problem now is with the electric clutch. It was constantly kicking out. A friend said it had to be adjusted down a lot from where it was. I took it apart, cleaned it real well turned it down to under 10000ths. That corrected the kicking out, but now when you use it for 30 to 40 minutes the battery is completely drained. I wonder if I have hooked something up wrong or is it the clutch itself. If anyone out there has had experience with electric clutches, I could use your opinion. I love the simplicity mowers because of their great cut. I bought the two I have used with problems.
