in the event anyone needs to buy zerks, this seller on ebay has just what you need. these are short, which fits much better. buy a pack; it will last the life of the mower. this item is a superior stant 1/8 npt straight short grease fitting.

Surprised yours has 1/8" NPT rather than 1/4-20. Good thing in a way. I prefer the smaller 1/4-20 as they don't require as much material be removed from the machine being greased.

Absolutely correct. 1/4-28. I'm old lets not forget. Been a while since I've handled on let alone made any on the lathe. Had to try it. Not a big deal at all. Not worth it considering the tiny amount of cost to purchase. Point being, I knew they are 28 tpi and my head in my arse caused the lack of oxygen to the brain.
