Stihl br420 carburetor

Hi everyone I am new on here ,my blower would shut off a second after it started,I rebuilt the carburetor,now it won't run at all ,I cleaned the holes out of the carburetor with carb cleaner,I had a guy from stihl dealer tell me the carburetor is no good , when I sprayed the holes out I damaged the jets in the carburetor,my question is this true

Well he sorta right but it is the rubber check valves that gets damaged. Here I only clean them with soap and water in an USC. Even then I had a few times a non replaceable welch plug to come out.

I need to replace the carburetor,the next question do you think the aftermarket carburetor is any good

Personally in my shop I had no luck with the after market carburetors.

The ones that come from a real mower shop are generally good because the shops have to warrant them
Carbs bought from the web warriors are pot luck
