I can start the saw up cold no problem. After I run out of fuel & fill it back up I can' t get it to start. It has a new plug & I put in a carb kit. Any thoughts?
With the stihl saws that I have owned, If I caught it running out of gas, and shut it off, and refueled it wasn't bad to restart. if I ran it until it died on its own, and refuel, good luck restarting. Almost like they would vapor lock.
Replace air filter, remove covers both sides & do a thorough cleaning removing debris. Always use Stihl 2-cycle oil & high test gas, replacement parts also Stihl brand.

Thanks already done that. Took the cylinder apart this morning. All is good. Just needs a little bit of polishing on the cylinder walls & piston. New rings are on the way.
