I have just rebuilt a Stiga Villa Senator that had previously been fitted with a rotary cut deck at the front.bracketed to the front of the underside of the chassis.
I am now trying to couple it to the Stiga Flail front Attachment. bracketed to the front axles
I have looked on the internet for any information or photos of a Villa Senator with a flail deck and fond there are none?
Q.Was this mower ever sold fitted with a flail attachment ?
The long drive belt that came with the flail suggests that it was previously fitted to a 4WD mower that had the drive taken from the middle of the differential on the back axle. I am having to use a much smaller belt that goes to the attachment clutch pulley that is fitted.
Alignment is difficult as I cant test it until I have made 2 brackets that hold all to the front axles.
