Heads up on this one as the installation snap ring is wrong. Does not fit even if you open the ends enough. I am lucky to have saved the snap ring from 15 yrs ago that works. See image for comparison. The ears are too wide and don't fit even on diamond of the square hole, plus can't open it enough without twisting. Complainant already filed with Stens.
Hey, the guy in accounting and inventory said it would work. LOL
"It's just a stupid snap ring" What's the worst that could happen?

The wrong one is coming in the amazon/ebay kits too.
I reported to stens about a belt for cub cadet being the wrong size. Sent pictures. Never heard anything back

time to take the old one with you to Ace Hardware. They have an excellent snap ring selection. McMaster Carr does too but you'll have to measure it with some calipers rather than match it.

I'll hang on to the inverted internal snap I got here. May be years again before I need it.
I beginning to think some just don't give a hoot if we get the right parts or not as long as they get their money upfront. maybe that why they went with all payment by credit card.

D-E-I combined with "free" Covid payments and cheap labor all over the world, add to it we got accustomed to working 50 - 80 hour weeks at their age. Stuff in accountants and consultants saying we can outsource your people cheaper than you can staff and train them - perfect storm.
